Do I need a permit to......?

In most cases, the answer is “Yes” — a permit is required. To make sure everything goes smoothly, we encourage you to contact us and share the details of your proposed project or property improvement. Once our staff understands the scope of your plans, we can guide you through which permits may be necessary, the expected review timeline, and any associated fees.

All Permits and Applications below can now be filled out Electronically, and emailed to the Permit Clerk, or submitted in person at City Hall.

The Following Permits require Licensing along with the Permits.

• Electrical
• Mechanical (HVAC)
• Plumbing
• Fence

ALL Workers from Contractors to Apprentices need to have an active license with the City of Harrah prior to the start of any work. All work must be permitted prior to start of work. All contractors need to be licensed in the City of Harrah prior to start of any work. Failure to do so will result in fines and penalties.

If work is being done during non-business days or if in the event of an emergency fax permits to (405) 454-2130 or drop permit in night drop box signed and dated accordingly.
