Q & A
Do I have to appear in person?
- No, you do not have to appear in court. Just have your citation paid in full prior to your court date. However, if you would like to make payment arrangements or speak to the judge about your citation you need to be at your scheduled court day. Juvenile’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Can I pay over the phone?
- No, you can pay online, or in person at City Hall. We have a drive thru and drop box located on the back of the building for your convenience. To pay online go to cityofharrah.com you will need to register an account, once created you can log in and enter the information required, you will need the citation number and know the fine amount. There is a service charge to pay online.

Where do I get a copy of my driving record?
- You can obtain a copy of your driving record at most tag agencies for a fee.
What if my tag is now in compliance after receiving the ticket?
- Provide proof in person on or before your court date and the case will be dismissed with court costs.
What if I received a ticket for failure to carry insurance?
- Provide proof of insurance to the court clerk prior to your court date. Once verified that the insurance was active at the time of the citation your charge will be dismissed at no cost, on or after your court date the charge will be dismissed with court costs.
State Law requires every owner of a motor vehicle to register in the state and to maintain liability insurance. If you had no insurance at the time of the stop, upon conviction or deferral of sentence, the court clerk shall report the offense to Service Oklahoma.
What if I received a ticket for defective equipment?
- Provide proof that the condition has been corrected within 48 hours and the charge will be dismissed at no cost. After the 48 hours, the charge will be dismissed with court costs.
Failure to Take Action or Appear
- If you fail to pay the fine, or appear by your court date, additional fees may be added to your case. You may also be charged with a new charge of Failure to Appear and a warrant may be issued in your case. If a your charge is a traffic violation your driver’s license may also be suspended.
Note: If you have a Commercial Driver’s License or received a ticket while driving a commercial vehicle, it is, by law, reported to Service Oklahoma.
What if I received a ticket for not having my driver’s license in my possession or my driver’s license is invalid?
- Present the valid driver’s license to the court on or before the court date for dismissal with no costs. “All licensed drivers should have their driver’s license in their immediate possession when driving and be able to present it to an officer as required.”
- If charged with an invalid driver’s license on or before the court date, present a renewal or replacement driver’s license and you shall be entitled to dismissal without payment of costs and fine. “No person shall operate a motor vehicle without having a valid driver’s license for the class of vehicle being operated.”
