We are seeking the community’s input in naming the new Harrah Food Truck Court.
The new Harrah Food Truck court sits on the corner of Church Avenue and Holden Street. This was the long time home of the Jorski Motor Company, a Chevrolet dealership started by P. A. Jorski in 1918. P. A. had acquired the Lanyon Building which was built in 1906 to house his new business. P. A. Jorski ran the business until 1955 when his nephew Ben Jorski acquired the dealership. The car dealership remained for many years and then became a mechanics shop and parts store. Benny was a graduate of Harrah High School where he was also a member of the Harrah High School Marching Band. Benny was well known around Harrah, and he ran the Jorski Motor company until April of 2002. Benny’s Place (Jorski Motor Company) was in existence on the corner of Church Avenue and Holden Street for 84 years!
To honor this historic corner, we are inviting you to help choose its new name by voting in our poll, which can be found in the link below.
