OKLAHOMA COUNTY BURN BAN EXTENDED

City PlannerCommunity

Yesterday the Oklahoma County Board of County Commissioners has extended the Burn Ban for Oklahoma County for an additional 14 days.

Effective immediately, outdoor burning is prohibited throughout Oklahoma County for the duration of the burn ban. This restriction is in place due to current fire conditions and the increased potential for fires to rapidly spread and threaten lives, property, and natural resources.

The Harrah Fire Department strongly urges all residents to comply with the Burn Ban and refrain from any outdoor burning until the ban has been lifted.

Please do not burn:

• Brush or vegetation

• Trash or debris

• Leaves or grass

• Burn barrels

• Brush piles

• Any other materials outdoors

Violations of the Burn Ban may result in legal penalties and fines.

Your cooperation is essential in helping our firefighters prevent avoidable fires and protect our community.

PLEASE DO NOT BURN.
