The City of Harrah is seeking committed, community minded volunteers to serve on its Boards and Commissions.
Members are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. All positions are volunteer and unpaid.
What do each of these Boards do?

Planning and Zoning Commission
Role: Reviews land use, zoning, and development proposals and makes recommendations to the City Council. Applicants must be a resident of the City of Harrah.

Board of Adjustment
Role: Hears petitions and appeals for variances from City zoning and development regulations. Applicants must be a resident of the City of Harrah.

Parks and Rec Board
Role: Makes recommendations to the City Council regarding the parks, recreational facilities and events.
