She completed her studies at the University of Central Oklahoma with a BA in Political Science.

After graduating from college, Kim worked for Harrah Schools before landing employment at Jones City Hall as Deputy City, Court, and Utility Clerk, of when she states, she “fell in love with municipal government”. She has also been employed by Del City City Hall as a Deputy Court Clerk, and is currently an Oklahoma state employee.

Kim has two daughters, Kortnee and Taylor. Both are Harrah High School graduates and graduates of the University of Central Oklahoma. She attends First Baptist Church of Harrah, which is the same church she was baptized in as a young girl.

Kim was first appointed to the Harrah Park and Recreation Board in March of 2012, and later to the Harrah Planning Commission. In April 2013, she was elected as City Councilwoman of Ward 1. Kim’s vision is to bring all sections of Harrah together to strive toward one goal. She states, “I am thrilled and honored to have been given the opportunity and the confidence to be a voice for the people of Harrah, and I will work hard every day for you. We are in this together, and we all have the same town to call ‘HOME’. Let’s make it great!”
