The City of Harrah Planning Commission is a volunteer five member citizen board appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. The Planning Commission has numerous duties including, but not limited to the following:
- Holding Public Hearings
- Recommend Goals & Objectives for the Comprehensive Plan and make recommendations to the City Staff and City Council.
- Review and make recommendations to the City Council regarding Site Specific-Subdivisions Plats.
- Review annexation requests and make recommendations to the City Council.
- Review Planning Commission Applications and make recommendations to the City Council.
- Review Planned Unit Developments and make recommendations to the City Council.
- Review applications for rezoning applications and make recommendations to the City Council.
